We are looking forward to the "boring" days of January. We are cleaning up and re-organizing and refreshing! Our big event for January will actually occur in February. February 3 to be exact! We are going to feature the art of Robin Schuricht for the entire month! We will have an opening on Saturday, February 3 from 5pm to 7pm. This is an open house to get the first view of Robin's art and this is your invitation. Light refreshments will be served and we can't wait to see you!
While we take stock, we've asking ourselves what would we like to make? What would we like to learn how to do? What do you feel like making?
Well, we quickly decided one thing we definitely wanted to do was a Mother's Day Tea Party with ALL the fancy including hostesses dressed in period clothing. When we get all the details finalized we will let you know how to register. But you'll have to do it fast because half the spots are already full of us!
As a side note, we will be closed for a vacation this month as well as some days to do some things with family and to recharge. Knitting Group is still meeting Friday, January 12 from 1 to 3pm. Sit and Sew is happening Saturday January 13, 10am to 3pm. Both events are free, but I'll have the donation jar out for the sewing group and their electricity using machines.
